1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using Falcon, you explicitly accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. Account creation constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of the service

Falcon is a daily puzzle games platform offering:

Daily "Who Am I?" historical figure guessing puzzles
Daily and custom wordsearch puzzles
Game history, streak tracking, and performance statistics
A puzzle archive (Falcon Plus subscribers)
Custom puzzle generation on any topic (Falcon Plus subscribers)

3. User accounts

Account creation: You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it updated. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Account termination: You may delete your account through account settings, which will permanently remove your data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

4. Subscription tiers

Free tier: Access to the daily Who Am I? and Wordsearch puzzles, with a per-session question limit on Who Am I?.

Falcon Plus: Includes the complete puzzle archive, custom wordsearch topics, and the full stats dashboard. Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date. Features may change and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe the rights of any third party
Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
Interfere with the normal operation of the service
Use automated systems to access the service without our permission
Reverse-engineer or scrape puzzle responses at scale

7. Content about historical figures

Puzzles feature deceased historical figures. Answers are based only on publicly documented historical facts and are provided for entertainment and educational purposes. They should not be relied upon as authoritative factual statements. If you believe any content is inaccurate or harmful, contact us immediately.

8. User content

You retain ownership of any content you create (such as custom wordsearch topics). By submitting content you grant us a licence to use, store, and process it solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

9. Intellectual property

The service, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Kingfisher Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kingfisher Labs and its affiliated parties are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kingfisher Labs, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Service modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any feature at any time, and will endeavour to give reasonable notice of material changes.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by posting updated Terms with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary; the remaining provisions continue in full force.
