Our approach to cookies

Falcon uses only essential cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We believe your browsing behaviour is your business.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. Cookies can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (stored for a set period).

Local storage

We use your browser's localStorage to store one item:

  • falcon_cookie_accepted: Stores that you have dismissed the cookie banner. This is not a cookie and is stored locally on your device only.

YouTube and trailers

When you watch a trailer on a title page, we embed the video from www.youtube-nocookie.com. This is a privacy-enhanced mode provided by YouTube (Google) that does not use cookies to track you unless you interact with the video. YouTube's own privacy policy applies to these embeds.

We use youtube-nocookie.com specifically to minimise data collection.

Third-party cookies

We do not load any third-party tracking scripts, analytics libraries, or advertising platforms. No cookies from Facebook, Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar services are placed on your device when using Falcon.

Consent

Because we use only strictly necessary cookies (required for the service to function), we are not legally required to obtain your consent before setting them under PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). However, we provide this policy so you can make an informed decision about using our service.
